Ellen Simon: Foundation and Uncial - 6 weeks, Wed evenings,
Feb. 13 - March 20, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Uncial is an all upper case alphabet from the 4th through the 9th century. Foundation is an all lower case alphabet dating from the 15th century. They have many similarities and work well together. They adapt well to the use of color. Excellent for certificates, poems, informal invitations & envelopes, display signs, name tags, No previous experience necessary. You can use the same supplies from my beginning italic class or, if a new student, supplies will cost $20 to $25.

(Ed: Ellen is an excellent teacher and if you are looking for a good beginner class for broad edged calligraphy work this would be an excellent place to start.)
