This is your reminder that this month is our annual auction of artist made books for charity. We hope that all of you will bring an original book or an originally embellished book for a very popular and successful book auction. Rules follow:
Book Auction
This year, like last year, we are planning to start the year with a book exchange and silent auction for charity!
Rules:
The Book(s): You can bring as many books as you want. The only thing we ask is that they be either handmade OR hand embellished and decorated, meaning if you don't want to make a book you can buy a journal and decorate it!
Please tag or label your book in some way so that we know who the artist is.
The Auction: Books will be set out at the beginning of the meeting so that everyone can look at them. At the end of the meeting we will have a quick silent auction. Ten minutes of lightning fast bidding. People who contribute books will automatically win tie breakers.
Books will be exchanged and money collected at the meeting so bring cash or check with you!
All money collected will be donated to our vice-president Aaron Packerd's son's recovery.
